Touted as the “Golf Capital of the World,” Myrtle Beach knows golf, so it was no surprise when they went all-in on sponsoring and hosting a PGA TOUR event. But Myrtle Beach isn’t just a place where the pros play. It’s a place where everyone belongs, no matter what level of golf suits your fancy. We created a TV spot that showed all the forms of golf The Beach has to offer, from the mini kind, to the Topgolf kind, to hitting the links with a few of your best pals. It’s all golf, and it’s all in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

The spot aired on the Golf Channel in the months leading up to the 2024 Myrtle Beach Classic and had premium sponsorship TV time during tournament play.

A new PGA TOUR tournament meant there was a need for a new event logo. Since Visit Myrtle Beach sponsored the tournament, I wanted to make sure the logo had strong ties to the destination brand and the community. I found influence from a Myrtle Beach logo from the 70’s where a bird is seen flying over the ocean, and pulled in current Visit Myrtle Beach graphic elements and colors for brand cohesion. I developed color and logo usage guidelines for the PGA TOUR to use and bring this event to life.
