Since the 1960s, Avis has been all in on their “We Try Harder” campaign. But in today’s era of smart tech and DIY rent-a-car services muddying the competition, trying hard is barely enough. Avis needed to outsmart their competition and evolve with the times.
Introducing: Try Smarter – How Avis was going to outsmart the competition and give customers a reason to give smart a try. I say was because we didn’t win the pitch. But this work made me a better Art Director. Woulda been a shame to leave it on a hard drive and never let it see the light of day. Coulda been awesome.
